A Somali girl stands at the outskirts of the camp for internally displaced persons where she and her family moved after floods and internal conflict pushed them from their home.

Like her, thousands of children in Somalia and around the world are losing access to school. This week, we commemorate World Humanitarian Day and remember the difficult situations in which many children have to learn.  Let’s remind the world again to support and finance education for ALL children, especially those in the most difficult situations, so they have hope for a brighter future.
