During the Board meeting/retreat in Washington, DC from October 14 to 16, 2015, the Board of Directors discussed the following topics:

• The strategic plan concept note,
• The scope, scale and strategic financing including discussions on GPE geographic and thematic focus, and how it might evolve over the next 5 years
• The GPE operational platform including an overview of proposed actions related to roles, responsibilities and mutual accountability for country-level impact
• GPE global and cross-national levers including key principles to guide GPE convening and knowledge-brokering role
• The theory of change and proposed results framework
