UNGEI/UNICEF and GPE will hold a regional workshop on gender-responsive education sector planning and equity-based financing in Nepal from October 3 to 5. Delegates from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and two provinces in Pakistan have been invited to join this training in Kathmandu. During the training, representatives from the relevant ministries in the participating countries will review the use of the Guidance for developing gender-responsive education sector plans. The guidance was piloted during an initial workshop in Tanzania in March 2017.
