As Senior Officer for Partnership and Learning at Girls Not Brides, Emma works with regional teams to strengthen National Partnerships and coalitions working to end child, early and forced marriages and unions (CEFMU). She supports knowledge management, capacity development and shared learning between Girls Not Brides coalitions and member organizations. Emma currently manages Girls Not Brides’ EOL-funded project in Francophone West Africa, supporting shared learning and collective advocacy to improve girls’ access to and retention in quality education and end CEFMU.

Emma has over 20 years of experience in international development. Prior to joining Girls Not Brides, she worked in the international education team at ActionAid, focusing on participatory methods, gender equality and the right to education. Emma has an MA in Latin American Studies and a BA in Modern Languages. She speaks English, French and Spanish.
