World Bank Approves Fund to Improve Access to Education in Gambia

GPE media coverage - March 11, 2014

The World Bank Board approved a grant of US$11.9 million to support increased access to basic education, improved teaching quality and improved learning for primary school students in the Gambia.

The IDA grant comes alongside a grant by the Global Partnership for Education of US$6.9 million that was approved in November 2013.
