The Global Citizen Festival announced the official 2014 host committee will be led by Hugh Jackman. The free concert will feature performances by JAY Z, No Doubt, Carrie Underwood, fun., The Roots, and Tiesto from the Great Lawn of New York's iconic Central Park on September 27, 2014.

These artists and hosts will once again dedicate their time to encourage fans and friends to become 'Global Citizens' by taking actions to end extreme poverty by 2030. The Festival coincides with the United Nations General Assembly and will call for tangible commitments from world leaders in the areas of vaccines, education and sanitation, and will focus on ensuring that all the world's children and young people can survive and thrive.
