Kenya aligns two major education programs

Kenya’s ministry of Education wants to align two major education programs – Tusome and Global Partnership for Education, in order to implement these programs more efficiently. These two programs aim to strengthen the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.

Kenya’s ministry of Education has received a grant of USD 88.4 million from the Global Partnership for Education to improve early grade mathematics competencies and will benefit 6 million pupils in grade 1 and 2 who will receive improved early grade mathematics textbooks.
