Zimbabwe gets US$14 million to boost its education system

Following a US$20.6 million grant from GPE to support Zimbabwe's education system, Germany announced an additional US$14 million to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to help the country build on its commitment to improve performance in the classroom for both teachers and students. The funds enable Zimbabwe to train teachers, add new learning materials to the curriculum, and capture teacher qualification data electronically.
