The dissemination and cross-pollination of education sector knowledge lies at the heart of the Global Partnership for Education’s work program. Our collaborative approach and involvement with all major education actions at the local, regional and global levels positions us as a unique incubator of innovative ideas for education practitioners and policymakers.

Global and Regional Activities (GRA) program

The GRA aims to engage and energize education stakeholders to apply new knowledge and evidence-based practices to resolve education challenges. The program intends to bolster and harmonize technical cooperation across countries and help developing country partners elaborate education programs that reflect excellence in the field.

GRA focus on 3 critical areas

  1. Learning Outcomes;
  2. Out of School Children; and
  3. Education Financing.

Here is an overview of current and future GRA initiatives:

  • Technical workshops, peer-learning events, and conferences that provide opportunities to access evidence and share knowledge;
  • Development of innovative partnerships and networks within or between regions to improve the capacity of country and regional- level organizations to sustain quality education;
  • Technical assistance to strengthen the capacity of country or regional organizations;
  • Study tours or exchange programs within or between regions to improve cooperation among country-level organizations and regional institutions;
  • Pilot Interventions to address specific issues such as early reading in local languages, child labor, and health and education in GPE developing countries.
