We rely on our partners’ support, expertise and knowledge to achieve our mission of getting all children into school for a quality education.
In each GPE developing country, we bring all partners together in a Local Education Group (LEG) to develop high quality education strategies and programs. By involving all major education actors, our partnership’s unique structure guarantees aid effectiveness, transparency and mutual accountability.
Through bilateral support and additional contributions to the GPE Fund, donors from developed countries help developing countries implement and maximize the impact of their education strategies.
Developing countries manage and lead the work of all parties involved in the development and implementation of their education plans and strategies.
Civil society organizations promote policy dialogue with all education actors, advocate for increased support for education, and monitor donor and developing country governments’ commitment to education.
Multilateral agencies such as UNESCO, UNICEF or the World Bank play a pivotal role in implementing the Global Partnership’s education programs and supervise grants agreements and the disbursement of funds.
Private sector, think tanks and foundations partners provide strategic, technical and fundraising advice to help the partnership expand its activities and explore innovative opportunities to achieve education results.
