The GPE Fund was launched in October 2011 and supports activities aligned with the Global Partnership for Education's mission to enroll more children in school for a better education. All decisions about funding are made by the Global Partnership's Board of Directors. Donors to the GPE Fund include bilateral and multilateral partners. Note: The Global Partnership for Education has provided support to countries' education plans for about a decade through the Catalytic Fund and the Education Program Development Fund. Starting in 2012, these funds were consolidated into the GPE Fund. |
