Frits Brouwer is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations at Leiden University in the Netherlands.  Frits is the Dutch Youth Representative to UNESCO. In this capacity, he focuses on education, global citizenship, intangible heritage, and social cohesion and intercultural dialogue. He believes young Dutch people always regard education as one of the top priorities their country should have. Frits discussed these issues at the GPE Replenishment Conference in Brussels where he also had inspirational encounters with many young people for whom education has not just been a fact of life, but a treasure to fight for.
