Geoff Adlide

Geoff Adlide has over thirty years of experience in media, government, NGO and multilateral environments, including working and living in remote indigenous Australia and developing countries in Asia and the Pacific Islands.

Geoff is passionate about effective development and sees country-led multi-stakeholder partnerships as the way to achieve lasting impact. Prior to joining GPE he spent eight years leading the Advocacy and Public Policy team at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.

Previously Geoff was an active Board member of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria and UNAIDS and managed the Australian Government’s relationships with global humanitarian and health agencies. He worked for the Australian Agency for International Development, AusAID, from 1995-2007, in various positions in public affairs, bilateral and regional program management and policy development. From 1988-1995 he was media and political adviser to Aboriginal rights leaders in Australia’s Northern Territory. Geoff started his professional career in journalism and documentary production for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
