Natalie Akstein works at the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) as the Networks and Engagement Coordinator, and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to joining GCE she worked for Southern-based NGOs on initiatives aimed at strengthening civil society participation and citizen action at local, regional and international level. She is a dual Brazilian/American citizen proficient in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Economy of Development from IBEI Barcelona.
