Rémy is a school inspector. Since 2010, he has been coordinating the preparation work concerning the initial activities of the Inter Country Quality Node on Literacy and National Languages (ICQN-LNL). More than half of his long career has been devoted to the promotion of non-formal education for young children, teenagers and adults. He has also held senior positions in the public service of his home country, Burkina Faso, such as Director General for Literacy and Non-Formal Education, Technical Services Inspector and Technical Advisor to the Minister of Literacy and Non-Formal Education of Burkina Faso.
