The Financial Advisory Committee held its first ever in-person meeting on Monday 16 May 2011 in Kigali, Rwanda. Main agenda items included issues related to the appropriate size and future chairing of the committee, prioritization criteria for allocation of the Global Partnership for Education resources, fixed allocations for grants for Education Plan Development and Revision and the Global Partnership for Education Program Development, redesign of the external quality review process and governance of the new Global Partnership for Education Fund.
