Wonder who will judge all of the wonderful entries for our ReadingChangedMyLife.org Photo and Video Contest? Today, we introduce one of our distinguished judges, Arne Hoel, a renowned photographer and multimedia producer from Norway. Arne has extensive experience with international organizations, aid agencies, NGOs, helping them tell their unique stories via audio, video and graphics. This short video showcases his work as a photographer and features compelling stories about the importance of education and literacy. Remember that your photo or video will be judged on the following three criteria: • Originality and creativity (33.33%); • Relevance of the action and demonstration of how reading changed your life or the life of someone you know (33.33%); • Clarity of the description and narrative impact of the entry (33.33%). Do you have a compelling story of how reading changed your life or the life of someone you know? If yes, get creative, take a photo or video that you feel captures your story and briefly describe it. Please remember that the videos should be no longer than 60 seconds. We want to hear YOUR story so others are inspired to learn to read, or to change the lives of children and adults through literacy. There are only two weeks left so hurry up and submit your entry soon. Remember that you are participating for a chance to win a Kindle Keyboard 3G, a Canon video camera and a Nikon photo camera!
