Earlier this week several of us from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) attended the Brookings event "Education and the Post-2015 Development Agenda" for what was a completely packed house with a full agenda. Rebecca Winthrop, Director of the Brookings Center for Universal Education, did an outstanding job moderating. She convened a group of top tier of thinkers and doers in the global education space including: U.N. Special Envoy for Education Gordon Brown; Director of the White House National Economic Council Gene Sperling; Senior Director of Education and Child Development at Save the Children Heather Simpson; Pauline Rose of UNESCO and the GMR Education for All Report; Carol Bellamy of the Global Partnership for Education and many others.

The event covered many challenges and opportunities in the global education space, some of which are inspired by the U.N. Secretary-General's Education First Initiative.

We hope you'll join us on Twitter at the next event!
