Application and program document for COVID-19 accelerated funding for Mauritania. 2020

Mauritania's application for a COVID-19 funding to support the Ministry of education’s COVID-19 national response plan.

Titled “learning continuity and resilience building of basic education project”, the project aims at:

  • Supporting learning continuity through the development of a methodological guide for setting-up and monitoring the distance learning, the support of the deployment of the distance learning education and building capacities of teachers
  • Preparing the country for schools reopening by developing remedial and accelerated learning programs; conducting awareness campaigns for students, parents and teachers and acquiring hygiene and prevention supplies.
