The governments of Canada, France, Kenya, Mali, Niger, and the United Kingdom convene a high level event on girls' education on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. 

The event aims to accelerate action on girls’ education while ensuring that girls who are currently in school are able to master the basics and progress through secondary education.

President Emmanuel Macron of France, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, and Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom will make opening remarks.
