Webinar. New MOOC on mainstreaming early childhood education into education sector planning

The Global Partnership for Education hosted this webinar on Tuesday, October 15, to strengthen participants' knowledge of key issues related to early childhood education (ECE) in order to better inform decision-making, planning and program implementation.

Joining hands for strengthening ECE by ensuring that it is a core component of education sector planning, GPE, UNICEF, and UNESCO, including IIEP-UNESCO, announced their new free 5-week massive open online course (MOOC) on “Mainstreaming early childhood education into education sector planning,” which starts on October 28, 2019. This 1-hour webinar was an opportunity to hear more about the content and delivery of this upcoming course.

Presenters:

  • Shared the overall learning objectives to be covered in this course,
  • Demonstrated the multiple levels of participation offered in the course – which participants can tailor to meet their individual learning interests and availability,
  • Engaged with the audience in an open Q&A session to answer common questions about this online course.

The webinar was presented in English with simultaneous interpretation in French.
