The Center for Universal Education at Brookings will convene policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and thought leaders from the government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors to discuss how moving away from commonly held beliefs and practices in education can accelerate student learning around the globe.
Discussion and debate will focus on a small set of widely held views that are holding back education system transformation. By shifting mindsets and altering behaviors, we can bring the U.N. Sustainable Development Goal 4 for education within reach.
Thursday, May 21, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
