Financing health and education: girls driving development
Financing health and education: girls driving development

The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by world leaders this September will demand a more coordinated approach if we are to improve access to, and the quality of, health and education services for underserved communities – particularly girls and young women.

This round table discussion between heads of state, ministers of finance, health and education and development partners will include a conversation on concrete examples of best practices between sectors. The aim is to learn from what has been done, discuss how to collaborate more efficiently among sectors, and target resources to achieve better outcomes at the country-level.
