Webinar: Raise Your Hand for global education: The successful formula for Agenda 2030
Oct6-event-Germany

Quality education not only lays the groundwork for a country’s future, but it also provides individuals with the ability to live in dignity, build their lives and contribute to their communities. Education also provides a crucial amplifying effect on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Each goal relies on education to empower people with the knowledge, skills and values to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice and protect our planet by 2030.

There are only ten years left to eradicate poverty and leave no one behind - but we are in the middle of a global education crisis that is being accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, action is needed.

GPE and Germany have ambitious goals for the upcoming five years, driven by the vision that every boy and every girl should have access to 12 years of inclusive quality education. This can only be achieved if we empower girls, in particular, invest in teachers and ensure that education systems are strengthened.
