Together with Restless Development, FEMNET, African Youth Commission, and AU-CIEFFA, GPE will convene a virtual youth-led side event at the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for a discussion that will explore important intersections between climate justice, gender, education and livelihoods, and look at the opportunities for young people to drive forward progress on the Global Goals and Agenda 2063 in Africa and globally.

The eighth session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development will be held in Kigali, Rwanda from March 3-5, 2022, under the theme of “Building forward better: A  green, inclusive and resilient Africa poised to achieve the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063”. Youth participants should please also fill out this registration form prior to the event to share questions and topics of interest.
