Tahinaharinoro Razafindramary is the Country Lead for the Central Africa Republic, Benin, Djibouti, DR Congo, Mauritania, Niger, Guinee-Bissau, and Togo.

She came to GPE Secretariat from Western and Central Africa Regional Office of UNICEF in Dakar where she served as an Education Specialist. In the regional office of UNICEF, she provided technical supports to UNICEF country offices in their engagement in policy dialogues with the governments and also conducted regional studies on "Out of School children", equity and education finance. She also helped countries of the region in the roll out the Child Friendly School model.

She began her professional career as a mathematics teacher in a High School in the South of Madagascar and then joined the planning department of the Ministry of Education of Madagascar. During her long career in the planning department, she had the opportunity to contribute to the realization of many studies on education issues as well as to work on the development of national strategies to achieve the EFA goals. Particularly, during the period when she served as the General Director of planning unit and then General Director of Basic Education department, she led the development of first Education Sector plan which allowed Madagascar to join the GPE and the revision of the plan when the Ministry of Education launched major reforms.
