Sai Sudha Kanikicharla  joined the Country Support Team of the GPE Secretariat in February 2015. She supports countries in Anglophone Africa. Sudha has previously worked for the World Bank on urbanization and climate change. She has also served as an Advisory Board Member for Youthnoise Inc. an organization set up by Save the Children in 2001 to serve as a global network for young people aged between 16-22. Her work has also included working with juvenile delinquents in a boy’s prison in India where she ran an organization called ‘Our Home’ that brought education and support of various kinds to the prison. She has also worked with Oxfam Australia, the Centre for Youth and Development and David Gardiner and Associates before joining the GPE. She is originally from India and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the George Washington University and a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from Pune University in India.
