Emily Woolf is the Senior Education Adviser in DFID’s Children, Youth and Education Department. She leads the delivery of DFID’s new education policy Get Children Learning – stepping up UK efforts to address the global learning crisis by improving teaching, backing reforms that deliver results in the classroom and ensuring targeted support for the most marginalized children.

Recent roles have included policy leadership for DFID on gender and education and managing the UK’s Flagship Girls Education Challenge, as well as leading DFID’s education strategy and programs in Nigeria.
