Frank Heinrich has been a Member of Parliament at the German Bundestag since 2009. He is the main representative of his party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), at the Committee for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid. He is also a member of the Social Affairs Committee and a deputy member of the Development Committee. The trained social worker and theologian is the speaker of the Parliamentary Advisory Board of DSW (Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung), an organization addressing the challenge of global population growth.
