Jo is the Director of Programs for the International Education Funders Group, an affinity network of over 100 grantmakers who grant to education in low- and middle-income countries. She has worked in global education since 2004. Through her work with NGOs, government agencies, multilaterals and research institutes Jo has supported advocacy, programming, policy-making and research spanning a wide range of issues in the field. She has a PhD in International Education from New York University and lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
