Camilla Helgø Fossberg is Education Policy Director in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was previously Chief of Education Section in the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). She is Board Member of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and has served as co-chair of the Executive Committee of Education Cannot Wait (ECW). She was Energy Sector Councillor at the Norwegian Embassy in Mozambique and Nicaragua. She has previously held education positions with Oxford Policy Management (OPM), UNICEF and the World Bank. She holds a PhD and a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and has written on the Chilean education system, education politics in sub-Saharan Africa and inequality of education theory.
