Highlights from Financing the Future: Education 2030

“Financing the Future: Education 2030” at the United Nations on 20 September was a side event of the 72nd General Assembly. The event was co-hosted by Norway, France, Malawi and Senegal. With UNESCO, Education Commission, Global Partnership for Education, Malala Fund, ONE Campaign and UNICEF.

The event aimed to secure political commitment to investing in all levels of education, for the full cycle of quality early-childhood, primary and secondary education. It also showcased success stories of country-led initiatives. and increased domestic resource mobilization and efficient development cooperation for education.
