2017 program development grant for Cote d’Ivoire

March 2017 - The Global Partnership for Education Secretariat approved the following grant:

US$200,000 for Côte d’Ivoireto develop a new education program

Description: The program development grant will support the development of Côte d’Ivoire’s application for the ESP 2016-25 implementation grant (ESPIG) request to GPE.

The grant will finance the collaboration between World Bank, a key partner of the Global Partnership for Education, the Government of Côte d'Ivoire and development partners in the preparation of a program to be implemented over a period of 10 months. The World Bank has been nominated by the local education group to manage the grant on behalf of the Government of Côte d’Ivoire.
