More than 90,000 primary school teachers in Kenya have registered for a government-sponsored training to improve teaching and learning in primary schools. This program is the first phase of a Sh8.8 billion project funded by the Global Partnership for Education aimed at raising management and accountability standards, in addition to building capacity for research-based education sector policy enactment.
