The government in Cambodia, the EU and other partners including GPE, launched a new phase of the Capacity Development Partnership Fund aimed at strengthening the country's education sector.

CDPF started in 2011 and has entered its third and final phase, which will cost US$27 million over four years. The Ministry of education stressed the importance of the program in ensuring that every child in Cambodia can receive inclusive, equitable and quality education in more conducive learning environments. 

Partners applauded the remarkable transformation of Cambodia’s education system but added that challenges remain, especially for students from vulnerable and marginalized communities.
