In this piece for Time Educational Supplement (TES), British-Nigerian actor David Oyelowo explains that without investing sufficiently in education, the world will face more destabilization, displacement and extreme poverty.

He endorses the model that the Global Partnership for Education uses to respond to low-income countries' needs, writing: "That’s why I am backing the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), which supports innovative, citizen-led solutions that involve people in how their education budgets are spent."
