The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is pleased to announce the launch and first call for proposals for Education Out Loud.

Managed by Oxfam IBIS, with an allocation of US$55.5 million from GPE, Education Out Loud is the biggest education advocacy fund in the world available for civil society. It supports civil society to be active and influential in shaping education policy to better meet the needs of communities, especially of vulnerable and marginalized populations.

Education Out Loud is launching its first call for proposals to support national education coalitions’ involvement in education planning, policy dialogue and monitoring. This call for proposals is by invitation only and applicable only for former recipients of Civil Society Education Fund (CSEF) grants who are based in current GPE partner countries or countries actively seeking partnership.

Grants will range from US$100,000 to US$300,000 for a duration of up to 2 years. This funding will enable national education coalitions to be more inclusive, particularly of marginalized groups, have better capacity to engage in policy dialogue and participate in and effectively influence policy processes.

Proposals can be submitted until October 14, 2019 (23:59 EDT) using the online application process.

For more information go to the call for proposals on the Education Out Loud website.
