EFA FTI Launches New Consultation on Global and Regional Activities (GRA) Program

EFA FTI just launched this month a new stakeholder consultation on Global and Regional Activities (GRA) Program with over 30 EFA FTI constituency representatives from the EFA FTI Board of Directors.

The new GRA program addresses the following thematic areas:

  • Learning outcomes
  • Out of school children
  • Education financing

GRA will be aligned with other activities of the EFA FTI Partnership and will seek to leverage rather than duplicate efforts and areas of expertise of other FTI partners.

The consultation will help finalize outputs and outcomes for potential GRA funded activities such as the development of an instrument that accurately identifies the number of out of school children and a methodology to improve national reporting systems on financing flows.

Based on the recommendations of the stakeholder consultation, the EFA FTI Secretariat will develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for specific GRA programmatic activities in each thematic area.
