Experts from 17 African countries examine their learning assessment systems

TALENT gathered experts from 17 African countries to examine their learning assessment systems. With emphasis on giving teachers more opportunities to get acquainted with various types of assessment, the workshop aimed to identify needs and gaps at country level, highlight best practices for replication, and promote international and pan-African cooperation. Participants have identified strategic areas to focus on to ensure that results and data collected are contributing to the improvement of education policies and curriculum. The event was supported by the Swedish International Development Agency and the Global Partnership in Education.
