Liberia launches 10-year education plan

At the opening of a three-day national education summit, Liberian President George Manneh Weah launched a ten-year strategic roadmap to boost the education sector. To accomplish this ambitious project, the ministry of education has carved out plans to improve curricula, training for teachers, school management and infrastructure.

The education summit brought together stakeholders with interest in seeing Liberia’s education system succeed, including a representative from the Global Partnership for Education.
