Local government in Nigeria distributes 68,000 instructional materials

Chikun education officials in Kaduna State, Nigeria, announced the distribution of over 68,000 instructional materials to 255 primary schools in their jurisdiction, made possible by a US$21.5 million grant from GPE. 

The education secretary acknowledged that for the government and its development partners to be encouraged to do more, they have to see a return on investment through improved quality of teaching and learning outcomes in schools.
