Malala Yousafzai meets education activists in Ethiopia

During her visit to Ethiopia, education activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai explained in an interview that promoting girls' education is more than just reading and writing; it empowers women, it fuels economic growth and increases health outcomes. 

Implementing policies that ensure 12 years of education to girls, an ambition being pursued in Ethiopia, and investing in organizations like the Global Partnership for Education yield great economic dividends. Equality important is creating a platform to raise awareness about the lack of access to quality education for girls.
