In this op-ed, Gordon Brown emphasizes that funding for education in humanitarian crises is still insufficient. According to UNESCO, currently only 2.7% of total humanitarian aid is allocated to education. He also highlights the work of the Global Partnership for Education in encouraging countries to account for refugees in long-term development planning.
