Senegal hosts expo on innovating education in Africa

The African Union Commission, Senegal and partners organized an expo to showcase technical and social innovations in education and training in Africa. The ‘Innovating Education in Africa Expo’ aims to provide a springboard for innovators to meet potential partners and gain insights that will catalyze growth across the continent. 

In opening the event, the Prime Minister of Senegal underlined the importance of innovation as pivotal in bridging development gaps and enhancing structural transformation for Africa. He also acknowledged efforts on the part of Senegal and the Global Partnership for Education to improve education outcomes in Africa.
