Making Early Childhood Education and Development a priority in Eastern and Southern African countries

Early this week, the Inter-Country Quality Node on Early Childhood Development (ICQN-ECD) of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) launched a first Leadership Capacity Building Workshop on Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED), in Mauritius.

During this three-day workshop, some 60 ECD stakeholders and practitioners from Eastern and Southern African countries are engaging in policy implementation issues relating to the needs and priorities in the delivery of an integrated package of ECD services.

GPE provided assistance to make that workshop a success.
