Noel Boivin is the Media and Communications Officer for UNESCO Bangkok, the Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education. Noel holds an MSc in Communication from Purdue University, and spent more than a decade working as an editor and writer mainly in Asian media before joining UNESCO in 2014. He now writes for and edits the UNESCO in Asia-Pacific newsletter, as well as spearheads the office’s “UNESCO Stories” series, which aims to go beyond policy and process to focus on the people UNESCO serves and the ramifications of the organization’s work in their lives.
