Edith is passionate about volunteerism and youth and women’s rights advocacy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and is currently the Communications Officer of Hope for Future Generations.  In addition to being a GPE youth advocate, she is a member of Curious Minds and founded KNITWEB, an umbrella of support networks to mentor girls and empower young people.

Edith has previously volunteered with UNFPA and UNICEF and was Conference Coordinator for the 7th Africa Conference on Sexual Health and Rights. She has been actively involved in the Sustainable Development Goals and has worked with the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service, National Youth Authority, National Population Council, and the Ghana AIDS Commission in the formulation, revision or implementation of policies to benefit young people.

Edith advocates for quality health and education as a Women Deliver Young Leader, and a member of the UNFPA Youth Leadership Working Group, the Young African Feminist Dialogue, and an advisory member of the Guttmacher-Lancet Commission on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. In the past, she was the Co-Coordinator of the dance4life ChangeMakers, an international advocacy group.
