Christen Maguire is a consultant at the Global Partnership for Education, supporting work in early childhood care and education. Her interest in ECCE began when she worked as a preschool teacher in Burkina Faso during her Peace Corps service. She continued her work in ECCE by working on programs in Nepal with the BlinkNow Foundation and the Aga Khan Foundation in India. A majority of her work has involved profession development for ECCE teachers, community mobilization, and curriculum development. Christen has a BA in Psychology from the College of Wooster and a M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania.
