Sirtaj Kaur

Sirtaj Kaur is an Advocacy Consultant at the Secretariat of the Global Partnership for Education. She has experience in girls’ education programming and advocacy, as well as legal experience in India. She worked as the India and Global Campaign Coordinator at Malala Fund, where she launched a country campaign and managed two grants on girls’ education. She has also worked with lawyers at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana on human rights cases, including victims’ rights in acid attack cases. During law school, she co-founded and served as chief-editor of an online magazine.  

At GPE, Sirtaj supports global and regional advocacy for education as well as GPE’s youth engagement. She holds a Masters in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Law Degree from the Army Institute of Law, India.
