Dorah Kitala

Dorah holds a Master Degree in Educational Psychology and a Degree in Literature and English from Kenyatta University in Nairobi (Kenya). She has experience in teaching literature in high schools where she has been working for 26 years, also heading the Literature Department. Dorah recently transferred to the Ministry of Education of Kenya where she has been involved in policy formulation and partnerships. Currently, she is coordinating the Refugee Education Policy Development and Peace Education in the Directorate of Policy, Partnerships and East Africa Community Affairs. Dorah has been widely involved in capacity building of teachers, members of the Boards of Management and parents on peace education programs also participating in related regional and international conferences.
